The session is designed to cover a wide range of issues related to faculty development.  Presentations concerning the development of great teachers and their role in modern medical education will follow. A guest speaker will talk about design of a formal faculty development program and we will talk about departmental and university resources to help resolve conflict amongst faculty.
A the end of the session the learner should be able to:
1. Discuss characteristics of great teachers and their role in med school curriculum.
2. Identify key features of a successful faculty development program.
3. Describe techniques to successfully resolve conflict amongst faculty.
